Intentional Prayer:

I love how karakia can have an incredible effect on my spirit, soul, mind and body. It is a deep connection to a source higher than I and recognises the relationship I have covenanted with a higher power...

Because I believe in the power of intent, words and action I wanted to share a prayer I use when I am feeling unwell or otherwise afflicted. I actually apply this prayer to any situation that befalls me.

Intentional prayers are just that. Prayer with intention. I bring all my thoughts, energy and focus into one space to manifest wellness.

Intentional Prayer

Dear.............(Who it is you have covenanted with). Please forgive me of any wrong doing, of any bad thoughts, or actions that prohibits me from reaching my full potential. Help me to break free of any physical, mental, or spiritual contracts either I or my ancestors have inadvertently made on my behalf that continues to afflict, subjugate or undermine my mind, body and soul and would otherwise continue to afflict myself and future generations in my whakapapa. Help me to heal from........ (Name affliction (s)). Please go through every fiber of my being where these afflictions reside, even within those realms where they reside, that are beyond my comprehension.

With the love of.......... (Name who you covenant with) to wash, clean and clear until these afflictions are no more. I also pray that you go through my DNA right back to the very beginning of time to identify anything else unresolved that I or my ancestors have done or contracted into to wash clean, to clear and to remove with the love and grace of:........... (Name who you covenanted with). Reset my system so that I may be renewed.

That I as a cleansed divine soul stand as a sentient being of pure light.
